INT. daytime, exercise room
Two people are in an exercise room. Person 1 is intent on going through with her exercise, person 2 has had an epiphany and wants to share this. Person 1 sits against the wall as her first exercise. Person 2 follows her lead. Person 2 Can you like… really say that one thing leads to another? Person 1 looks sideways at person 2 and then at a watch on her arm. Person 1 Five more, come on! Person 1 gets up and start doing squats, person 2 follows the lead of person 1. Person 1 What do you mean with leads to another? Person 2 That all these gadgets that we have invented to measure time is what makes it feel so short. Person 2 stops moving when she says this, pointing to a none existing watch on her arm and some imaginary mobile phone. Person 2 Do you know what I mean? Person 1 You’re mental! Person 1 increases the speed in which she is doing her squats. Person 2 doesn’t manage to catch up. Person 2 (as to their self) What’s the whole reason for gravity? Person 2 slows down, her body language heavy as she says this. Person 1 adds raising her arms above her head to her squats. Person 2 Like now. Don’t you feel like time is shorter because you have that thing to tell you how much of it has passed? Person 2 stops moving again and points to person 1 arm watch. Person 1 keeps up her movements and person 2 follows again. Person 2 Like, not seeing how time passes slows it down. Person 2 slows down and stays in a yoga pose, arms raised and knees bent. There is a beeping sound. Muffled but still very much there. Person 1 There’s the alarm! I really don’t have time for this! Person 1 storms out of the exercise room. Person 2 looks at her as she leaves. Person 2 Bye! Nice talking… to you… Person 2 slowly finishes her movements, closes her eyes and sits very still meditating.
